PT Collective Updates

I discuss updates to all of my websites.

Wow, this site is dead. I closed the main page so I could upload school-related stuff, without my classmates finding my other pages. The other pages are still open.

Anyway, I haven't changed the layout for any of the pages, and for that I am sorry. I am taking classes in various Web technologies, and I need to put what I've learned so far into practice, but I am not motivated to do so anymore. It's just so boring.

There is really no point to ever opening up the main page, unless I find somewhere else to host my schoolwork, and that is unlikely as I don't want ads cluttering up my pages. Oh well.

>:-(

Somebody hacked into the message board, so I removed it. I already created a new board - it's a board from InvisionFree.com, and has only one category on it.

You can sign up and discuss pretty much anything here. The URL is http://z10.invisionfree.com/WitchingHour/index.php

I just realized that I totally forgot to mention that I had uploaded a new layout for the Princess Diaries site. It's the bright pink one, unfortunately. Your eyes get used to it after the initial viewing, though, which is why I went ahead and uploaded it, since it was already finished and all. I still don't want to host any audio files, since there are so many problems with it and all, but I might go back to hosting some royal video clips. I uploaded a bunch to my RapidShare account yesterday (I finally got paid, and got to renew my account).

A friend told me that Host Ultra has upgraded their $20 mini-packages, so now I have 800 MB to use for the site, rather than 300 MB, which is an even better deal. That makes me so very happy now. I was worrying about space, since I was uploading a lot of large magazine scans, but low-quality mag scans are boring and kind of pointless, since I like to either use them for fanart/wallpapers or read the articles. It's easier to upload a magazine scan with text than to type out an article.

Well. After months and months of waffling around, I finally created a semi-decent layout for the Young Royals site. It looks a lot like the new layout for the main site.

I had started a new layout for the Princess Diaries site, and even worked on it last night, but I don't like it. It is bright pink and hurts my eyes, so I will have to ditch that one and start all over. I really dislike the current layout because the top graphic is so big, which is not good for those with slow connections.

The Sailormoon site is still pretty much dead right now. When I get a scanner, I might create a website full of SM card scans, since I have a lot of Sailormoon cards.

I also changed the title of this blog, because 'The Goonie' was just dumb.

Oh, one more thing. I have given up on the Bond media site. I'd rather save my space for magazine scans - plus, hosting sound files and video files is risky. I deleted the directory, but I might bring it back when I renew my Rapidshare account. I am very poor right now, and can't afford much. :-(

I have gotten very lazy at updating any of my sites.

Anyway, right now I am adding the older scans to the Coppermine gallery. I may eventually get rid of the Us magazine and People magazine scan pages.

The Young Royals index page has been slightly updated as well. I might get around to scanning some new articles, but I was pretty badly injured yesterday, and can't get around much. :-(

I spent twenty minutes creating a new layout for the website. You can view it here. I am so excited now that the site is finally open! And the site uses i-frames!!!! For the longest time I couldn't do i-frames properly, but I discovered a little secret: place the i-frame in a table. Brilliant. You will have to see it at the site.

I am sooo, so so so so so happy about this. It is plain, but it's exactly how I want it.

Now all I have to do is create a better layout for the young royals site, and then create a new layout for the Princess Diaries site. Yayness.
I am no longer posting news articles on the crappy MSN message boards. I am posting them on Word Up, my own message board. The message boards are so awesome.

I updated the main index page to contain some links to my other sites.

I really hate the layout I created for the site, so I am going to start over from scratch. I will post a screen cap of it in case anyone is interested.

I will group the updates properly from now on, so that it's easier for you to find the updates for the right site.

Young Royals

I have finally updated the media for the Young Royals page. I am not happy about having to host the 67 MB file on my own server, but You Send It and You Share It are not working today. I get 7 GB of transfer per month, so I think I can handle this. As it is, the media is changed every week, so there should be no problems.

I will also get around to adding screen caps I made of the 'Meet The Royals' episodes that were done on the European royals. There were two - 'Princes of Europe' and 'Princesses of Europe' and I have both of those on a DVD.

Princess in Waiting

I have redone the movie section. Screen caps for all of the deleted scenes from both movies are online. I have updated the movie posters page and the book covers page with new stuff. The Tripod blog at the Princess Diaries site will remain open, but I will post updates here, and news articles and whatnot over there.

I have also changed both of the Dot TK addresses so that they forward to the new locations, but it might take a few hours for this to go into effect.

Coming Soon

I will next redo the 'Extras' section in the Princess Diaries site and upload new movie posters and cover art. I also plan to finally finish getting screen caps for the TV spots and the Disney Surfer clips.
